Terry is a volunteer with RACES.
Radio Amateur Cival Emergency Service, which is an organization which provides backup radio communication services for the San Diego County Office of Emergency Services (OES) and the San Diego County Sheriffs Department.
He encourages everyone to get involved and complete the test to get a ham radio licence.
It is not as hard as it use to be before and he has handouts regarding the test.
